Making Our Way Back To Ohio
It wouldn’t be a Murphy travel trip without a flat tire…womp womp. It was our first blown camper tire this trip, but Michael was able to change it quickly since he’s basically a pro at this point. Luckily, we were able to get another spare in a town on our way, and we were back on the road.
Our first stop on the way home was Hooch’s 66 Bar & Grill. Hooch’s was actually only 30 minutes from our earlier stop in Fort Mohave, Arizona. We were pretty worn out from our Zion stop, so we were looking for an easy stop to grab some food and make it an early night. The food was good, but the bar interior was the star of the show. Shoutout to our server, Anita, for being a ray of sunshine and letting us explore the establishment. Her sister and brother-in-law own the place, and we got to speak with them about the bar. Anita also talked us into some delicious carrot and Oreo cake and ice cream.
The bar is right on the corner of Oatman Highway and Powell Lake Road. Some people mentioned the traffic being loud, but we didn’t notice it while we slept.
