Met in 2011. Married in 2019. Camper traveling in 2022.

Michael is the life of the party and knows his way around a kitchen. He’s the one who makes our travels actually happen. He does all the driving, camper maintenance, and destination research. He might even give his left pinkie toe for a good taco.

Meghen’s the sugar mama with her full-time, remote design job. She leads our social and online presence with all things design. She loves photo editing, creating video reels, and writing the Murphy Journal. She is happiest sipping a sangria with the sunshine on her face.

Jaxton is our furry travel companion. We drag him with us everywhere the camper goes. He enjoys watching animals outside, basking in the sun, and taking long naps on his heated pad. While he’s not a huge fan of driving, deep down, he wouldn’t want to be anywhere without us. We love him long time.

How MOTM was born

We had spent years living life like a revolving door of work, eat, sleep, repeat.

Between Michael working out of town each week and Meghen’s two-hour commute each day, there wasn’t much time left to do the things we enjoyed together. There was no way we could see ourselves living this mundanity for the next 40 years.

Fast-forward to COVID and Meghen’s new work-from-home privileges. A spark ignited a new mindset on how we could make travel an everyday reality instead of a couple of weeks out of the year. So we saved up our money, bought a camper, and changed our lives forever.

Now, our days are spent traveling to new destinations all over the country. We hike, we take pictures, we try new food, and we experience something new each day. We hope that by sharing our adventures, we inspire others to live their lives to the fullest.
