Boondockers Welcome
Boondockers Welcome Stop #2 was in Georgia. Our host, Grady, was welcoming and kept to himself. He came out and greeted us while holding a small, black snake, so obviously, he was pretty cool. We ended up staying here for two nights to chill out and relax. It was a beautiful, quiet plot of land with a private lake and tall trees. Several cat mascots here were adorable but didn’t want much to do with us after seeing Jax.
I spent the day working, and Michael went on a grocery run. He picked up a couple of ribeyes and cooked us some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. We were in heaven, paired with some baked sweet potato chunks and grilled asparagus.
Tip:
Never go camping without a cast iron skillet. It’s one of the best ways to cook a steak and many other foods. It’s a bit of a PIA to clean, but the flavor this pan evokes from food is phenomenal.
