Raise a Glass to Elegance

Can you imagine waking up with this view out your window every day? Pahrump, Nevada has beautiful picturesque mountains as the backdrop to the city. This was our second time visiting the city, but our first time visiting Sanders Family Winery. Upon entering, we were led to a back room for a complimentary tasting of all of their wines. I’m obsessed with this concept. What a perfect way to expose your patrons to what you have to offer. All of their wines were delicious and even came with a bit of chocolate as a palette cleanser. The bottles were reasonably priced, so we purchased a couple of our favorites and spent the remainder of the evening relaxing in the camper. Michael and I were partial to the Cabernet Sauvignon and Serenity.

Overall, the winery had an elegant, old-school vibe. There wasn’t much of a nightlife as they close at 5:00 every day. We also visited in February, so many of the trees and vines were dead-looking. Visiting during the spring and summer would likely be a much prettier experience.

About The Winery

Sanders Family Winery was founded by Jack Sanders in 1988. It was Pahrumps first modern winery. The Sanders Family has been growing grapes in Pahrump for nearly three decades. With the completion of its new stunning Renaissance Tuscan-style Winery, Visitors Center, and Performing Arts Amphitheater, the winery hosts a variety of events and weddings. Today, Sanders Family Winery produces and sells a variety of award-winning wines. Each of their wines is wonderfully smooth and palatable, representing their supreme effort to produce premium wines of exceptional balance and character.
