Artesian Cellars

Pahrump, Nevada

Overview

We found Artesian Cellars on Harvest Host which was a quick stop on our way to Death Valley. They had a 30-amp hookup which was a nice surprise. The staff was kind and welcoming. This was a super cute winery with a nice selection of sandwiches and flatbreads. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with space heaters and gas fireplaces.

The next day we drove to the Tractor Supply Company down the road, where there was a little farmers’ market going on. We picked up some delicious food items for the next leg of our trip.

*We have a Harvest Host Membership so we’re able to stay at destinations like this with the expectation of spending $20 minimum within the facility.

Places of Note

Artesian Cellars Winery and Restaurant – They have delicious paninis. Michael’s favorite wine was their pinot noir.

The Ugly Cookie – Danielle Bernal made the most decadent pan of brownies that we picked up for $8. If you’re ever in Pahrump, you need to try some of her desserts!

Dole’s Yum Yums – We’re a sucker for homemade jam. We purchased the Strawberry, Raspberry, and Jalapeno mix and ate it with cream cheese and crackers. So good!

Rango’s Pit Stop – It was early so we got some breakfast. The Diablo was stuffed with potatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, and cheese. The perfect breakfast burrito.

Tip:

Be careful entering the lot through the rear access. It’s pretty darn steep, so you want to be cautious to pull through at an angle where you won’t bottom out.
